Cornerstones Day Program is located at Hamilton, ON. The company is currently looking for applications for the role of Personal support worker – home support. We are in search of a self-disciplined individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and take their responsibilities at the earliest. The open positions are for Permanent employment or Part time leading to full time job. The candidate must work from 09:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m.

Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in water (i.e. pool).
  • The candidate will be expected to assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
  • The candidate must change non-sterile dressings.
  • The candidate must provide companionship.
  • The candidate must provide personal care.
  • The candidate must prepare and serve healthy meals.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
  • The candidate must have CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
