We are seeking a self-disciplined individual with exceptional interpersonal skills. The chosen applicant will be required to join and begin their duties as soon as possible. The open positions are for Casual employment or Part time job. The shift schedule encompasses shift times which include Day, Evening and Night.

Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with bathing and other personal hygiene activities.
• The candidate will be expected to assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must have a First Aid Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work setting

• The candidate should work in a hospital or home for the aged; an aged care home, residential care and nursing home all describe the same service.

• The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• The candidate must be willing to walk for long periods of time.
