Job Description
- Applicants at this post are appointed to attend pre-construction meetings working at this post.
- Candidates are also appointed to conduct site visits where required to assist in the application review of proposed PUCC and ROP works working at this post.
- Candidates are also appointed to support inspection staff with permit related investigations including conflict resolutions and others working at this post.
- Candidates for this post are also appointed to ensure the PUCC’s overall objectives correspond with the direction of the corporation working at this post.
- Candidates for this post are appointed to provide technical guidance on utility applications and ROP-related inquiries to staff working at this post.
- Applicants are also appointed to ensure timely investigation, response, and resolution to complaints received from residents and Counselors working at this post.
- Candidates are also required at this post to deliver programs or develop strategies that will support the City of Mississauga’s strategic goals working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have successful completion of a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized Community College or a University Degree to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants for this post must possess Membership in the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to be considered as an asset for this post.
- Applicants for this post must have excellent organizational, computer skills and problem-solving abilities to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must have a valid Ontario Class ‘G’ driver’s license and the availability of a personal vehicle to get preferred for this post.
