Job Description

  • The candidate must prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance and pension plans.
  • The candidate will be responsible for storing, updating, and retrieving financial data.
  • The candidate will be responsible for performing clerical duties such as filing systems maintenance.
  • The candidate will be responsible for preparing and balancing period-end reports, as well as reconciling issued payroll with bank statements.
  • The candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly statements.
  • The candidate must complete and submit documents for the administration of benefits such as pension plans, leave, share savings, employment, and medical insurance.
  • The candidate will be responsible for informing employees about payroll matters and benefit plans.
  • The candidate will be responsible for compiling statistics and reports.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining payroll.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime in order to calculate pay and benefits entitlements, either manually or using computerized systems.
  • The candidate must prepare T4 statements and other statements.
  • The candidate must enter data.

  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
