Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for accompanying patients to outdoor recreational activities.
- The candidate must perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
- The candidate must perform other tasks related to personal care.
- The candidate will be responsible for supplying and emptying bed pans.
- The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
- The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
- The candidate will be responsible for making beds and maintaining patient rooms.
- The candidate will be responsible for bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
- The candidate must transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher.
- The candidate must answer call signals to determine the needs of patients.
- The candidate must provide personal care.
- The candidate must be able to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a Secondary (high) graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
Work setting
- The candidate should work from a remote location, the practice of employees doing their jobs from a location other than a central office operated by the employer.
- The candidate should work in rural areas where most people live or work on farms or ranches. Rural areas include hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements.
- The candidate should be willing to relocate and ready to find a job in a new or different city.
- The candidate should work in a hospital or home for the elderly; an aged care home, residential care home, or nursing home all provide the same service.
- The candidate should have a hospital/medical facility or clinic, a hospital, department, outpatient facility, or clinic whose primary purpose is sports medicine, rehabilitation, or wellness.
- The candidate should work in a nursing home, a home for the aged, or for people who don’t need to be in a hospital but can’t be cared for at home.
