Job requirement 

  • Candidates must have completed a post-secondary diploma or degree in urban forestry, horticulture, or other biology-based program or natural science discipline to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have a minimum of 5 years of progressive-related experience, with related management experience within a union environment, to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must have an equivalent combination of education, training and experience to be eligible for this post.
  •  They must have to be ISA Certified Arborists to be eligible for this post.

Work setting 

  • Candidates are required to work with other departments to implement existing City plans and strategies.
