Parks Person II
A post of Perks Person II is vacant at the City of Mississauga and they’re inviting candidates to fill out and submit the application form. Job Description
- Candidates are responsible for the set-up, takedown and maintenance of the Celebration Square ice rink.
- They’re appointed to perform specified duties as required under the Ontario Pool Health Regulations in terms of water chemistry.
- They’re appointed to provide functional guidance to seasonal staff ensuring efficiency and productivity are maintained.
- Candidates are appointed to respond to inquiries from the public and provide information and resources for special events, displays and community projects.
- Candidates will have to provide support in the area of Health & Safety ensuring all staff follows all legislated policies and City guidelines.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a minimum Grade 12 secondary school diploma to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain dedicated experience in ice rink and refrigeration plant maintenance.
- They just attained a Class “B” Operating Engineer Certificate.
- Candidates must possess a valid Class “G” Ontario Driver’s License.
- They must have a dedicated Certified Ice Technician (CIT) Designation, IMEO, Basic Refrigeration, IMPT and Certified Pool.

- They must have excellent organizational, record-keeping and problem-solving skills to be eligible for this post.
