Job description
- All candidates will be responsible for issuing parking tags to illegally parked vehicles and arranging to have cars towed.
- They also have to attend to parking complaints received from the public and take appropriate action.
- They will respond to telephone, police radio and in-person inquiries from members of the Service or members of the public regarding parking and/or municipal by-laws, procedures and policies.
- Candidates have to maintain contact with Municipal Law Enforcement Service Agencies.
- They are also responsible for monitoring previously approved sites to ensure continued compliance with by-laws and preparing appropriate reports.
Job requirement
- All candidates must have a successful completion of Grade 12 or an approved equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Candidates must be 18+ years of age.
- They also must have minimum one year demonstrated experience working in a customer service capacity.
- They also must possess a valid Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) certificate.
Work setting
- They also must have a valid Social Insurance Number.
- They also must hold a valid “G” driver’s licence permitting you to drive in Ontario with full driving privileges with no more than six demerit points.
