Job Description
- Candidates interested in this post are required to assist with resource management projects working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to ensure facilities and equipment are properly maintained working at this post.
- People who apply for this post are also appointed to perform administrative duties such as correspondence, ordering equipment and purchasing supplies working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to carry out routine facility inspections, as well as ensure their normal operations working at this post.
- They’re appointed at this post to perform a variety of skilled trades duties associated with the construction, repair, maintenance and operation of the park working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates who applied for this post must attain the ability to be designated as Park Warden and meet and maintain the ministry certification criteria and standards in Force training.
- Applicants applying for this post must have a valid class ‘G’ driver’s licence or equivalent, as recognized by the Province of Ontario to get preferred for this post.
- They must have prior working knowledge of resource management principles, policies, and practices applicable to parks to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates applying for this post must have prior knowledge of parks programs, services and operating regulations and demonstrated ability to interpret, apply and enforce relevant acts and regulations to be considered as an asset for this post.
