Job Description
- People who apply for this post are required to perform minor repairs and maintenance to buildings/utilities.
- They’re also accountable for providing garbage collection and general facility maintenance/sanitation.
- Candidates who applied for this post are required to operate and repair a variety of heavy and light-powered equipment such as tractors with attachments, riding lawn mowers, chain saws and hand tools working at this post.
- They’re also accountable for carrying out facility inspections for security/damage and are also required to promote compliance with park rules and regulations working at this post.
Job requirement
- Applicants interested in this post must possess a valid class “G” driver’s license or equivalent as recognized by the province of Ontario to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates interested in this post must attain the ability to obtain a valid emergency first aid certificate.
- They must attain the ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends and statutory holidays as per schedule.
- Applicants interested in this post must possess knowledge of operating standards for the maintenance and sanitation of general building facilities and utility maintenance to be preferred for this post.
Work setting
- They must be knowledgeable of the operation and maintenance of powered equipment to be preferred for this post.
