Job Description
- People who applied for this post are also required to assist in the training and leadership of regular and Summer Experience Program (SEP) students working at this post.
- Candidates are also required to carry out minor maintenance duties for the park program working at this post.
Job requirement
- People applying for this post must have a valid class ‘G’ driver’s license or equivalent, as recognized by the Province of Ontario, to get preferred for this post.
- They must possess or have the ability to obtain a CPR and Emergency First Aid certificate to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must be required to work shifts, weekends and statutory holidays as per schedule to be considered as an asset for this post.
- People applying for this post must possess knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials and methods.
- They’re also required at this post to possess experience completing basic grounds and facilities maintenance and minor repairs coupled with an ability to use small hand-held tools to get preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants are required to possess demonstrated communication skills to provide information and direction to staff and colleagues.
- They must have proven interpersonal and customer service skills to deal with clients, staff and park visitors to be considered as an asset for this post.
