Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are required to rotate through various areas and positions such as Loader, Unloader, Palletizer, and Scan Weigh working at this post.
- They’re also accountable for training other PHs on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques to ensure efficient and safe movement of packages through the operation working at this post.
- People are also required to have Loads and unload packages onto or from delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, conveyor system carts and load gratings.
- People who applied for this post are required to lift, carry, push and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis for an approximate shift of 3-5 hours working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed 6 months of experience as a PH with Federal Express Corporation to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have prior Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to understand and follow instructions regarding work duties and safety methods to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly.
- People must attain the ability to use basic tools and equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes, and unloading devices to get preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates are also responsible for a multi-step package inspection process to ensure packages that are “Air Restricted” are not loaded into an air container working at this post.
