Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to investigate and assign the root cause of arrival delays and tarmac delays at a flight level for all AC Carriers.
  • They’re also required at this post to prepare tarmac delay reports for Legal review, including all findings on whether obligations were met, including all supporting evidence.
  • Candidates for this post are required to coordinate with internal stakeholders and provide all relevant information on cases that become litigated, along with results of investigation on fact gathering.
  • They’re also appointed at this post to save and file all external documentation supporting the assessment that delay or cancellation is outside control. 
  • Candidates for this post are required to provide feedback on operational improvement opportunities.
  • They’re also appointed at this post to provide feedback to support improvements on Process Improvement Playbook content.
  • They’re also appointed to align delay comments with additional information supporting the root cause.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must have a post-secondary degree or diploma with a focus on Aviation Studies to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates must have dedicated airline operational experience and the ability to work well under pressure, adapt to constantly changing operational situations, make decisions and meet deadlines.
  • They must have excellent oral and written communication skills to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates must have excellent knowledge of computer systems currently in use, like Netline Ops, Netline Crew, TRAX, WSI Fusion, LIDO, Flight Briefer, Communicator, SmartLoad, and others. 
  • They must have proven problem-solving skills within a team environment to be eligible for this post. 

Work setting 

  • They must have the ability to distinguish the root cause of the delay to be eligible for this post.
