Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are accountable for maintaining a thorough and continuous awareness of provincial, city and divisional policies and procedures and communicating as required divisionally.
- They’re also accountable at this post to develop and draft new procedures, guidelines, and policies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery working at this post.
- People interested in this post are also appointed to develop policies that reinforce the City of Toronto’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and building a positive and respectful workplace environment working at this post.
- People interested in this post are also required to consult with subject matter experts to understand and document business processes related to policy working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed post-secondary education in Social Sciences, Public Administration, or other relevant discipline related to the job function to be eligible for this post.
- They must have prior experience in providing policy/program development and evaluation advice and information/knowledge to management.
- Applicants must have prior experience conducting research required to support policy development, procedures and best practices to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must attain dedicated experience in preparing comprehensive reports and developing presentation material on various topics.
- Applicants must attain the ability to prioritize multiple projects, work with cross-functional teams, set clear directions and design terms of references and project plans to be considered as an asset for this post.
