Job Description
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
- They’re also accountable for developing a first-aid care plan for AAs recovering from an injury, focused on injury improvement.
- Candidates interested in this post are required to manage the workers’ compensation and return to work process for AAs with work-related injuries.
- Candidates interested in this post are required to provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
- Applicants Interested in this post are accountable for spending frequent time on the warehouse floor to interact and engage with AAs and managers to coach on observed at-risk work habits working at this post.
- They’re also accountable for maintaining a clean and orderly environment working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed high school or equivalent diploma and must have a valid card evidencing successful completion of Advanced Care Paramedic under the Paramedics Profession Regulation to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must be certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training from the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Red Cross.
- They must have to be trained as an advanced first aider who holds a certificate in advanced first aid from an approved training agency.
- Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office and must attain experience with an industrial wellness program to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- They’re accountable at this post to monitor and ensure appropriate medical supply inventory is maintained.
