RPB CONSTRUCTORS LTD.  based in Vancouver, BC and Chilliwack, BC, is looking for candidates for the position of Office Manager with 1 vacancy. The ones chosen to be employed will be required to start work as soon as possible. RPB CONSTRUCTORS LTD. has an approved Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to hire a foreign worker to fill skills shortages and labor shortages on a temporary basis. The vacancies refer to that of permanent employment and a full time job. The shift will extend in the day.

Job description

  • The candidate will be required to arrange for billing for services.
  • The candidate will be required to carry out administrative activities of establishment.
  • The candidate will be required to administer policies and procedures related to the release of records.
  • The candidate will be required in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • The candidate will be required to oversee office administrative procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to co-ordinate office administrative procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to review and evaluate administrative procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to implement new administrative procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to establish work priorities.
  • The candidate will be required to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • The candidate will be required to co-ordinate for office services .
  • The candidate will be required to plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.
  • The candidate will be required to assist in the preparation of operating budget.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain inventory.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain budgetary controls.
  • The candidate will be required to assemble data for reports.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare periodic and special reports.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare manuals.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare correspondence.
  • The candidate will be required to do delegate work to office support staff.
  • The candidate will be required to document and prepare invoices.
  • The candidate will be required to document and prepare work orders.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise around three to four people.

  • The work location is spread across Rural area, Urban area and various other locations.

Requirements

  • The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • The candidate should have equivalent experience in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should have an experience of at least 3 years to less than 5 years.
  • The candidate should have knowledge in Business Equipment and Computer Applications.
  • The candidate should have a basic security clearance.
  • The candidate should be willing to travel.
  • The candidate should have project and personnel management skills.
  • The candidate should have office management skills.
  • Public transportation is available for the candidate to use.
  • The candidate should be willing to travel regularly.
