Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary school graduation or equivalent (such as GED).
  • The ideal candidate will have at least one year (within the last three years) of experience providing administrative support in an office setting using various computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Skype).
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience providing quality client service and responding to client needs in a professional manner.
  • The ideal candidate will have a Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Integrated Case Management (ICM) and/or Management Information Systems (MIS) computer systems from the Ministry of Children and Family (MCFD).
  • The ideal candidate will have administrative experience working with vulnerable children and families in a human or social services setting.
  • The ideal candidate will be someone who self-identifies as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit and has the necessary combination of education and experience.
  • The candidate should have strong presentation skills.
  • The candidate should have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • The candidate should have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
