Job Description
- The candidate will be in charge of clipping.
- The candidate will be in charge of fruit tree training.
- The candidate will be in charge of cleaning the greenhouse.
- The candidate will be in charge of harvesting seedlings.
- The candidate will be expected to maintain and manage vine growth, vine canopy, and grapes.
- The candidate must be able to operate climate controls.
- The candidate will be in charge of weeding.
- The candidate will be expected to assist in the pruning of trees, shrubs, and plants.
- The candidate will be required to mix and prepare soils.
- The candidate must plant bulbs and seeds
- The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
- The candidate will be required to transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings.
- The candidate will have to apply fertilisers.
- The candidate must report any signs of insect or disease damage.
- The candidate will be expected to assist in grafting activities.
- The candidate will be required to dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs.
- The candidate will be expected to water and care for plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
- The candidate will be expected to clean the work area.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- Candidate’s fluency in Spanish and Panjabi language is an asset
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate should be reliable.
Work Site Environment
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp and cold/refrigerated conditions.
- The work environment is smoke-free.
Work Setting
- The candidate must be willing to work in a rural area.
- The candidate will be required to work in various locations.

- Products include Coniferous trees, Deciduous trees, Ferns, Native plants, Perennials, Bedding plants, Berry bushes, Bonsai plants, Fruit trees, Ornamental trees, shrubs, and hedges, Seasonal plants, Tropical plants, and Vegetables.
Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have prior experience with garden tractors, mechanical cultivators, and light trucks.
