Job Description
- The candidate must participate in community program development.
- The candidate must participate in community needs assessment.
- The candidate must address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
- The candidate must assess patients in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
- The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse (RN, ASN, BSN, BScN, MSN, MScN) or Practical nursing, vocational nursing, and nursing assistants, other.
- The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising employees in various areas of responsibility.
- The candidate must be licensed as a Registered nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
- The candidate should be client focused.
- The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
Work setting
- The candidate must work in a home care and visiting care agency, as well as in a hospital, medical facility, or clinic.
- The candidate should work in public or community health centre providers may work in medical clinics, community health centres and allied health practices, such as physiotherapy and podiatry practices.
Experience and specialization
Area of specialization
- The candidate must be knowledgeable about palliative care and be able to support and facilitate the grieving process for the patient and their family.
