Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to interview patients in order to obtain case histories.
  • The candidate will be expected to determine and implement office procedures and routines.
  • The candidate will be required to fill out insurance and other claim forms.
  • The candidate will be expected to plan travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
  • The candidate will be required to enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, as well as prepare spreadsheets and documents for review.
  • The candidate will be required to initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
  • The candidate will be expected to prepare draught agendas for meetings as well as take, transcribe, and distribute minutes.
  • The candidate will be expected to supervise and train other staff members on procedures and the use of current software.
  • The candidate will be expected to make and confirm appointments.
  • The candidate will be required to perform general clerical duties such as ordering supplies and inventory management.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep the filing system up to date.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.

Area of Work Experience

  • The candidate should be familiar with reports and records, invoices, correspondence, charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams.

  • The candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word and Electronic mail.
