Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to take large trays of styro-packaged meat from large wheeled racks and place individual packages into automatic wrapping machines.
- Candidates must follow safety and security procedures working at this post.
- They’re also appointed to set labels according to product type and price, and print and apply labels to products.
- Candidates are appointed to put wrapped and labelled meat on large trays of large wheeled carts and stocks in the display case by reaching through sliding windows or moving the rack to the floor.
- Candidates working at this post are required to operate a meat grinder. Dump meat onto the top of the machine and check the fat content of each batch from the grinder.
- Candidates are appointed to follow proper department production procedures and standards for the quality and consistency of finished products.
- They’re required to clean and sanitize the area throughout the day. Performs duties to comply with health code, such as sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures.
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to perform routine maintenance for machinery, equipment and implements.
- Candidates are also required to provide and ensure prompt and courteous member service.
Job requirement
- Candidates working at this post must assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates must have food safety certification of level 1 to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must acquire meat wrapping experience and will be given preference over other candidates.
