Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to provide leadership, support, and oversight of the projects and achievement of branch and corporate goals. 
  • They’re also appointed to improve the speed and quality of strategic business opportunities. 
  • Candidates working in this post will have to act as key contributors to transformational initiatives that drive growth or promote scalability, as well as reduce costs to ensure greater profitability.  
  • They’re also appointed to support branch strategies that involve developing a culture of improvement and challenging the status quo while ensuring quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met using employee and consumer insight and sustainable execution business framework. 
  • They’re appointed to develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and SMEs to provide best practices, develop LEAN improvement skill sets, generate ideas and implement recommendations as required. 
  • Candidates are appointed to lead and participate in the transition of projects and improvements from development to functional implementation and ownership. 
  • Candidates are also appointed to seek opportunities to mitigate initial costs as well as ongoing operational costs.
  • They’re also appointed to identify areas of improvement and facilitate improvement projects that can result in significant improvement in profitability. 
  • Candidates are appointed to interface with key stakeholders and identify value opportunities. 

Job requirement 

  • They must have 5 years of work experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain management. 
  • Candidates must attain 2 years of work experience in project management, PMP or similar certification to be eligible for this post. 
  • They must have dedicated knowledge of process mapping, process design and workflow management software and applications.  
  • Candidates must have dedicated cargo industry experience to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates must attain strong facilitation and leadership skills to drive motivation and change initiatives.  
  • They must be able to MS Projects, PowerPoint, Word and Excel and dedicated knowledge of Vision.
  • They must acquire relationship-building expertise with an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 

Work setting 

  • Candidates must attain excellent written and verbal skills, Great listeners and strong presentation skills. 
  • They must have a proven capacity to understand, analyze, model and effectively communicate information.
