Job Description 

  • Applicants working in this post are appointed to manage all aspects of SCT operations and collaborate with various internal partners.
  • They’re also required at this post to build and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders working at this post.
  • Applicants working in this post are appointed to develop annual operating budgets, and contracts, and secure grant funding and sponsorships.
  • They’re also required at this post to maintain and develop safety, security and emergency procedures and training for staff working at this post.
  • Applicants applying for this post are required to draft reports and prepare presentations for a variety of audiences, including City Council, Council Committees, community and cultural organizations and the general public working at this post.
  • Candidates are also required to serve as ambassadors for SCT and the City of Surrey performing arts working in this post.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must have a dedicated university degree in a related discipline.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the delivery of cultural programs and services, including facility management and staff supervision to be eligible for this post.
  •  Candidates must have a strong understanding of best practices for professional theatre operations.
  • Applicants must attain the ability to lead and manage a large staff team to be preferred for this post.
  •  They must attain the ability to author reports and deliver presentations for a range of audiences.
