Job Description

Applicants at this post are required to optimise the utilization of resources along with materials and equipment procurement working at this post.

They’re also appointed to this post to ensure compliance with engineering, legislation and regulatory standards and guidelines.
Applicants are also required to review and approve the final design, Offers to Connect and estimates.
Candidates are also required to review and approve scope change recommendations and change requests.
They’re appointed at this post to manage cost performance and support project variance analysis.
They’re also required at this post to ensure effectiveness in pre and post-construction meetings for both internally and externally executed project work.
Applicants for this post are required to ensure Toronto Hydro’s work program targets are met through active planning, reporting, risk identification and mitigation working this post.

Job requirement

They must have completed post-secondary education and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering to be eligible for this post.
They must have a dedicated professional engineer or Certified Engineering Technologist in the province of Ontario to be eligible for this post.
They must have completed 5 years of professional experience in utility, electrical, civil, or mechanical design or operations environment.
Candidates must have prior experience in the electrical utility industry involved in overhead and underground electrical distribution design and construction.
Candidates who are project management professionals will be preferred for this post.

Work setting

Candidates must have a valid class G license and 3-4 years of progressive leadership, and project leadership experience.
