Job Description 

  • Candidates working at this post are appointed to cultivate, within the Admissions team, a climate of communication and consistency and a strong sense of team and shared purpose. 
  • They’re required to create a highly effective client service culture within the team that focuses on meeting time-sensitive deadlines and creating a positive admission experience for prospective students.
  • Candidates are also appointed to liaise with the Ontario College Application Centre (OCAS) and other related bodies as it pertains to admission processes, materials, information, data and directives. 
  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to perform research, design and implement admission policies, operational procedures, applicant selection processes and related standards, to ensure sound, transparent and consistent operations.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must have a minimum of a four-year post-secondary degree or diploma or equivalent education from a recognized post-secondary institution, skills and experience at the point of hire into the position to be eligible for this post. 
  • They must acquire a minimum of 7 years of related experience in a post-secondary environment with progressive responsibilities to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates must have a working knowledge of college and government financial assistance policies, admissions, registration, student records, policies and regulations. 
  • They must attain the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others in a team environment.
