Job Description 

  • Candidates working at this post are appointed to perform physically demanding tasks, such as repetitive lifting of tools and equipment, and on occasion raising equipment in excess of 45 kg. 

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must attain a secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience to be eligible for this post. 
  • They must have to ensure grounds maintenance and landscaping activities, equipment operation and maintenance, and carpentry. 
  • Candidates must attain knowledge in the safe use and maintenance of various gas, mixed fuel, and diesel fueled equipment and machinery.
  • They must ensure successful completion of post-secondary degree or diploma related to building or mechanical maintenance, horticulture or environmental sustainability, or related fields.
  • Candidates must hold a Certificate in a Skilled Construction or Industrial Trade to be eligible for this post.  
  • Candidates must attain dedicated experience in supervising the work of others. 

Work setting 

  • They must attain the ability to determine or calculate quantities, time and cost estimates and specifications to be eligible for this post.
