Job Description
- Candidates are accountable at this post to perform follow-up assessments and training of new Techs after they have been in the field for a given time working at this post.
- They’re appointed to this post to respond to work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues working at this post.
- Candidates are also responsible for replacing ‘plug and play’ equipment as needed working at this post. They’re required to instruct, oversee, correct and support their assigned Apprentice and are also responsible for overseeing Apprentices in specific disciplines working at this post.
- Applicants are required to support apprentices with online classes and ensure safety policies and guidelines are adhered to by apprentices during their period of training.
- People who applied for this post are appointed to support and develop best practices for training and site assessments, coaching and follow-up as required working at this post.
Job requirement
- They must have completed High School/GED along with 3+ years of relevant experience to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must hold a valid Refrigeration / Electrician / Plumbing / Appliance journeyman-level license issued by the province to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates are required to assess techs’ strengths and areas of opportunity to help coach and train to work at this post.
- They’re also accountable for helping to develop strategies to support continual growth and skills development with the apprentice working at this post.
