Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to manage the technical dispatch of all AC and customer aircraft in conformance with applicable standards of airworthiness in the organization.
- Applicants at this post are also appointed to coordinate the necessary day-of-flight maintenance activities at line stations and provide technical assistance working at this post.
- They’re also required at this post to communicate any aircraft operational restrictions to Flight Dispatch and Systems Operations Control working at this post.
- Applicants at this post are also responsible for the control of all MELs affected on the fleet at this post.
- They’re required at this post to stay current with all technical and regulatory training required to function in the assigned role working at this post.
Job requirement
- Applicants must possess an A.M.E. M2 or E License with active endorsements on any aircraft type in the Air Canada fleet to be eligible for this post.
- They must have proven knowledge of regulatory programs/agencies and attain prior willingness to work shifts and at times extended hours.
- Applicants for this post must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability for teamwork to be eligible for this post.
- They must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent English communication skills to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must attain the ability to deal effectively with internal/external customers to get preferred for this post.
Work setting
They’re also required to continuously update the shift manager and other senior management working at this post.
