Mail Service Courier

We are seeking Class 3/D and Class 5/G drivers with Air Brake endorsements to join our team as Mail Service Couriers. As a temporary, on-call relief, you will be part of a pool of drivers available to work locally on short notice.

Job description
- Candidates will drive a Canada Post vehicle, and collect and deliver mail items.
- Candidates must ensure the safety of goods and property and communicate with customers and the public.
- Candidates will start on a temporary, on-call basis.
Job Requirements
- Candidates must know to be safe drivers.
- Candidates should have the ability to complete all the work on schedule.
- Candidate should have experience in providing customer service.
- To be considered for this role, the candidate must have a valid Class 3/D or Class 5/G driver’s license with an air brake endorsement.
- Candidate must have at least three years of safe driving record and experience driving large vehicles or in commercial delivery.
- Candidate must also be able to lift mail items to 22.7kg.
- Candidate must be available to work on short notice.
- It is mandatory for the candidate not only to speak English but also to be fluent in English.
