Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for fitting and assembling prefabricated metal parts in order to build heavy industrial machinery.
• The candidate must read blueprints to ascertain the work requirements.
• The candidate must move and align components and subassemblies.
• The candidate must have prior welding experience.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have Forklift Operator Certification.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.

Work setting

• The work setting provides metal part fitting, assembly, inspection, and installation services.
• The candidate must work in the automation and industrial equipment industry.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must have their own transportation.
• The candidate’s travel expenses will be covered by the employer.
• The candidate must be willing to travel across borders.

Work conditions and physical capabilities

• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• The candidate should have an eye for details.
• The candidate should be willing to work overtime if necessary.

Own tools/equipment

• The candidate must have tools and steel-toed safety boots.
