The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to Permanent employment or Full time job. Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to repair minor mechanical issues such as broken or defective needles.
  • The candidate will be required to notify the supervisor or repairers of mechanical malfunctions.
  • The candidate will be required to read loom patterns and prepare loom pattern mechanisms for processing.
  • The candidate will be expected to verify the efficiency of the equipment.
  • The candidate will be required to investigate machine stoppages.
  • The candidate will be required to operate looms to weave yarn or thread into textile fabrics or products.
  • The candidate will be required to make adjustments to machinery.
  • The candidate will be expected to patrol machines, inspect fabrics or products for defects, and ensure that they are operating properly.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in French language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • Candidate having experience is an asset.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

  • The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
  • The candidate must be able to work in dusty and hot conditions.

Work Setting

  • The candidate will be required to work in a textile manufacturing plant.

Experience and Specialization

Type of Looms

  • The candidate must have prior experience with needle loom, narrow fabrics, and shuttle loom, cam.

Type of Fabric Preparation Machines

  • The candidate must have prior experience with fabric preparation machines such as needle punches.

  • The candidate must perform manual dexterity tasks.
  • The candidate should have an eye for details.
  • The candidate must have excellent hand eye coordination.
  • The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
  • The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
