Job Description
- The candidate must change diapers.
- The candidate must follow parents’ lead with toilet training.
- The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household (in absence of householder).
- The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- The candidate must go shopping for food and household supplies.
- The candidate must travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- The candidate will be responsible for organizing activities for children, such as games and outings.
- The candidate must prepare and serve healthy meals.
- The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising and caring for children.
- The candidate will be responsible for transporting children to and from school and appointments.
- The candidate will be responsible for helping children with homework.
- The candidate will be responsible for cooking.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR Certifications, as well as an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency test, CPR, and First Aid Certificate.
Work site environment
- The work environment is smoke-free and scent-free.
Work setting
- The candidate will be required to work from their own home.
- The candidate will be provided with room and board.
- The candidate’s relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee’s relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company’s offices or other work locations as required.

- Under Financial benefits, the selected candidate should receive benefits in accordance with the collective agreement contract between the employer and the union representing a bargaining unit.
