THD Caregiving is located at Vancouver, BC. The company is currently looking for applications for the role of Live-in caregiver. We are in search of a self-disciplined individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and take their responsibilities at the earliest. The open positions are for Permanent employment or Full time job. The timings of shifts may be Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning and Morning.

Job Description
- The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- The candidate must go shopping for food and household supplies.
- The candidate must prepare and serve healthy meals.
- The candidate must wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
- The candidate will be responsible for the emotional well-being of children.
- The candidate will be responsible for transporting children to and from school and appointments.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising and caring for children.
- The candidate will be responsible for organizing activities for children, such as games and outings.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- The candidate must keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
- The candidate will be responsible for instructing children in personal hygiene and social development.
- The candidate must discipline children using the methods specified by the parents.
- The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
- The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in absence of parents.
- The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
- The candidate will be responsible for helping children withย homework.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- The candidate should be client focused.
- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be reliable.
