Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining logs and records.
  • The candidate will be responsible for scheduling activities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for staff training.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of rescuers and victims at accident scenes.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for planning and carrying out recreational, fitness, and sporting activities.
  • The candidate must prepare reports.
  • The candidate must understand the principles of group dynamics.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading and instructing groups.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading and instructing individuals.
  • The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • The candidate must ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
  • The candidate will be responsible for monitoring recreational, sports, or fitness activities to ensure safety and providing emergency or first aid assistance as needed.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have a National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate, CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
