Job requirement
- Candidates must complete Grade 10 plus formal Lifeguard and Swim Instructor training.
- Candidates must meet the requirements to be a lifeguard under the BC Public Health Act Pool Regulations to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have evenings available and full weekend availability.
- To be eligible for this post, candidates must complete a rigorous screening process, including Physical standards Testing, First aid, diagnostic and treatment, Lifeguard standards, and Water safety instructor skills.
Work setting
- Candidates are accountable for performing water tests to ensure adequate water quality at this post. They will occasionally work with Chlorine and other chemicals related to pool operations, working at this post.
