Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for administering medications as needed.
- The candidate must apply aseptic techniques, including the use of sterile dressings, to ensure a sterile environment.
- The candidate must conduct specimen collection.
- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring infection control.
- The candidate must monitor nutritional intake.
- The candidate must observe and record the therapeutic and side effects of medications.

Job Requirements

- The candidate will be required to have an Acute Care Nursing Certificate, Certified Foot Care Nurse designation, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, Certified Nurse in Critical Care – Canada (CNCC-C), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate, as well as be eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province or territory of work and have completed the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
