Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for administering medications.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring infection control.
  • The candidate will be responsible for providing nursing services to patients within a defined scope of practise based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
  • The candidate must monitor patients’ progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years as well as complete a Licensed practical/vocational nurse training program (LPN, LVN, RPN, Cert., Dipl., AAS).
  • Candidate having experience is an asset.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
