Job Description
- The candidate will have to work under the general supervision of the manager of patient care.
- The candidate is responsible for providing professional practical nursing services to designated patients.
- The candidate will have to work independently with the designated patients.
- Candidates will also get a chance to perform collaboration and interaction with the healthcare team and participation in the coordination of patient care and discharge.
- The candidate will have to demonstrate a commitment to the vision, values, and goals.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed WRHA emergency nursing orientation training level 1 within 2 months.
- Candidates must have completed certification in IV therapy l, IV medication administration.
- Candidates must attain advanced cardiac life support training treated as an asset.
- Candidates must have completed an emergency nursing pediatric course.
- Candidates must attain the ability to prioritize care for an individual patient or group of patients.
- Candidates must attain the ability to maintain concentration with frequent interruptions.
- Candidates must be proficient with computers and software programs.

- Good physical health and mental health are required for this post.
