Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are required to demonstrates a commitment to the Mission, Vision, Values, goals and objectives of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and Deer Lodge Centre.
- Candidates working at this post are required to maintain professional practical nursing services to designated residents including independent nursing services, collaboration and interaction within the health care team and participation in the coordination of patient/resident care and discharge working at this post.
Job requirement
- They must attains dedicated experience with chronic illness, geriatrics and complex continuing care to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must be graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing education program to get preferred for this post.
- They must have an active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba
- They must have prior qualification form College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Candidates must have completed the qualification from College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Code of Ethics for Licensed Practical Nurses.
- They must have scope of practice as documented in the Licensed Practical Nurses Act to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the ability to prioritize care for an individual resident or a group of patients to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
