Job Description
- Candidates for this post are responsible for a broad range of maintenance activities that are performed to keep UPS package handling facilities operating efficiently and effectively.
- They’re also appointed to perform preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment such as conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial equipment.
- They’re also appointed for inspecting troubleshooting, repairing and replacing hydraulic equipment such as hoses, fittings, cylinders and pumps.
Job requirement
- They must have completed Grade 12 education or equivalent to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain possession of a valid 433A Millwright or 442A Industrial Electrician Certification of Qualification.
- They must attain a minimum of 3 years of post-apprenticeship experience performing maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Candidates must attain the ability to receive and give instruction over the radio in an industrial environment.
