Job description
- All the candidates will perform library support services such as circulation duties.
- They will engage and foster into students or classes the love of reading.
- They have to maintain and update computerised databases.
- They will purchase books and learning materials and coordinate publisher sales.
- They will collaborate with the school community to provide a positive and engaging learning culture through information and digital literacy skills.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have the ability to communicate using American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate effectively with the school community and engage directly with students (preferred).
- They must know library processes, procedures, protocols, and coding systems as well as the Dewey Decimal system.
- Candidates must have the knowledge of and the ability to operate library automation software and keyboarding skills.
- They are knowledgeable with the curriculum and education system to participate in collaborative pedagogical practices that promote students’ achievement.
