Job description

  • The candidate will be required to carry out administrative activities of establishment.
  • The candidate will be required to administer policies and procedures related to the release of records.
  • The candidate will be required in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • The candidate will be required to oversee office administrative procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to co-ordinate office administrative procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to review and evaluate administrative procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to implement new administrative procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to establish work priorities.
  • The candidate will be required to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • The candidate will be required to co-ordinate for office services .
  • The candidate will be required to plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.
  • The candidate will be required to assist in the preparation of operating budget.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain inventory.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain budgetary controls.
  • The candidate will be required to assemble data for reports.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare periodic and special reports.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare manuals.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare correspondence.
  • The candidate will be required to do delegate work to office support staff.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise around five to ten people.

Requirements

  • The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • The candidate should have equivalent experience in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should have an experience of at least 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • The candidate should have knowledge in Business Equipment and Computer Applications.
  • The candidate should have a basic security clearance.
  • The candidate should have knowledge in Electronic mail.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • The candidate should be able to work under pressure.
  • The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail.
  • The candidate should be able to manage tight deadlines.
