Job description
- Your day will start at the depot with candidates sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries.
- Most of the day will be spent outdoors, delivering mail and packages to customers along your route, using either foot or a vehicle.
- Subsequently, they will come back to the depot to unload the incoming mail and packages for later delivery.
Job requirement
- Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for a minimum of 3 years (driver’s abstract required).
- Physical ability is needed from them to regularly lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) throughout the day.
- It’s essential for them to work in all types of weather.
- Being on-call is a requirement.
- They are expected to have proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English and/or French.
