Job description
- All candidates will start their day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries.
- Candidates have to spend most of their day outside, delivering mail and also packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on your route.
- They also have to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery.
- They also have to meet new people and make their day.
Job requirement
- All candidates must hold a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a safe driving record for at least 3 years (driver’s abstract required).
- Experience in customer service will be helpful.
- Candidates must be able to be on-call throughout the work.
- They also must have the ability to read, write and speak English and/or French language.
Work setting
- All candidates must be physical fitness to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day.
- Candidates also have to work in all types of weather.
- Applicants also must have experience making deliveries or working as a driver.
