Job Description
- Applicants are appointed to start the day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries working at this post.
- They’re also accountable for loading and driving a Canada Post postal vehicle working at this post.
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery working at this post.
Job requirement
- They must have experience in customer service to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have experience making deliveries or working as a driver to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the ability to work in all types of weather and must have availability to be on-call to be eligible for this post.
- People applying for this post must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and French to be eligible for this post.
