Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are required to inspect the launch ramps for safety and report any concerns to the Marina Supervisor working at this post.
- Candidates are also accountable for performing daily shoreline and parking lot litter-picking work at this post.
- People are also accountable for weighing in fish for the Great Ontario Salmon Derby working at this post.
- People who apply for this post are also required to ensure the safety of pedestrians and other park users working at this post.
- People applied for this post to moderate lifting of supplies/moving boats and were also required to primarily work outdoors in various temperatures working at this post.
Job requirement
- The candidate must be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent public relations and organizational skills.
- They must have completed emergency First Aid Certification CPR “C” to be eligible for this post.
- They must have prior knowledge of boats and boat handling.
- Candidates must have green patch CSA-approved safety boots, runner-style safety shoes and beige or navy blue shorts to be eligible for this post.
- They must be available from April 27th up to August 24th 2025, up to 40 hours per week, weather permitting, to get preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates are responsible for directing watercraft traffic as they are launched and retrieved from the launch ramps working at this post.
