Job Description

  • The candidate must assist with landscape construction.
  • The candidate must cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • The candidate must lay sod or seed.
  • The candidate must plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and bulbs.
  • The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.
  • The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
  • The candidate must plant and move trees.

  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Construction specialization

  • The candidate must be skilled in the construction of stone garden walls, rock gardens, retaining walls, poured concrete, interlocking brick, fieldstone paths, and ornamental ponds, fountains, and waterfalls.
