Job Description

• The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• The candidate must plan and construct landscaped environments that may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures.
• The candidate must plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens.
• The candidate must plant and move trees.
• The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
• The candidate must organise and direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns.
• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate will be responsible for consulting and advising clients.
• The candidate will be responsible for building patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.
• The candidate will be expected to assist with landscape construction.
• The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers.
• The candidate will be responsible for supervising staff while planting, transplanting, feeding, and spraying.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work setting

• The candidate will be required to work in various locations.
