Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for operating survey instruments and devices.
• The candidate must participate in field surveys.
• The candidate must keep survey information in a systematic order.
• The candidate must assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, charts, and plans.
• The candidate must keep records, measurements, and other survey information in a systematic order.
• The candidate must analyze latitude, longitude, and angles and compute trigonometric and other calculations to plot features, contours, and areas to a specific scale.
• The candidate will be responsible for assisting survey engineers or professional surveyors in developing methods and procedures for conducting field surveys.
• The candidate must conduct field surveys and use survey instruments and computer equipment to measure distance, angles, elevations, and contours.
• The candidate must use global positioning systems (GPS) to determine precise geographic locations.
• The candidate must keep track of measurements and other data obtained during field survey activities.
• The candidate will be responsible for collecting and recording data.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be accurate.
