Job Description
- Candidates will have to provide Laboratory Services and delivers laboratory testing services for drinking water, solid wastes, effluents, receiving waters and ground waters.
- Candidates will have to perform laboratory routine analyses on various matrices for specified parameters by using approved or accepted methods.
- Candidates will also have to follow standard procedures for approving, verifying and transferring result to the Laboratory Information Management System.
Job requirement
- Candidates must ensure the completion of 3 year community college program in chemistry, microbiology or related field.
- They must ensure the completion of health and safety training required by legislation and by City of Ottawa.
- Candidates must attain a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of environmental analytical chemistry and microbiology.
- They must attain the experience of inductively coupled plasma spectrometers.
